PART 1 - How to choose the pointe shoes

To start a job at the ends, it must be with the dancer's feet and legs ready. It needs to be trained by a teacher to gain more muscles developed and thus have the strength to go on the ends. Why does not recommend the use of pointe shoes for people who do ballet, they run the serious risk of injury because they are not prepared. After this preparation, the most anticipated hour arrives (LOL): the purchase of pointe shoes.Buy pointe shoe for children and teenagers, who are in a growth phase, is a little tricky, because you have to keep changing the number. If this is your first purchase, I recommend you go accompanied by their teacher or a more experienced colleague. However, I will give tips on how to know if the shoe is on the appropriate size and type of your feet:

Ask the salesperson give you a shoe for beginners (it's good to go with the teacher recommendations, as it has sellers who do not know how to give information). I recommend a 180 Capezio Partner, it is great for beginners because it sustains the ballerina in the right measure for the implementation of simple steps that do not require much strength or support. When choosing the number, the number 1.5 to 2 sizes above what you wear normally. This is usually measured for pointe shoes. To determine whether the number of sneaker is correct, make grand pliés. If you are aa shoe is "moving" or leaving the heel is loose, you feel that your fingers are tight or that the weight of your body is not well distributed on the feet (if your feet are "falling" forward or backward) it is tight. The number is for when you feel your weight evenly distributed on the foot without the shoe to be large. DO NOT FORGET TO TRY TO HALF-tip and SHOES!Climb up on the tips and see if the shoe gives good support, your feet should not be "falling" forward or backward. Also, make sure it is not too soft for your feet and most importantly, feel that it is comfortable.
